It’s time to go over the features that come with the VIZIO D40-D1. While the specifications and general characteristics are important, this category has the potential to make or break a device’s credibility. With that said, you’re probably curious to know what this TV can do, so let’s begin.

Full-Array technology

This TV uses Full-Array technology, which is a form of backlighting used to provide advanced, premium quality pictures. It stands out through the uniformity with which the picture is being lit, in order to improve image performance.

Smart TV

It’s a Smart TV which means that you can use its entire library of useful apps. Now you can watch Netflix on your TV without needing any kind of external device. On top of that, you can also watch YouTube and pretty much any other popular video streaming or content platform. Aside from the apps that come preinstalled, you can download more from VIZIO’s app store. You also get access to the internet and you can use a web browser to surf the web.  Not to mention that you can stream content directly on your TV, from your mobile devices through the Second Screen feature.

Smart Remote

There are a lot of TVs that come with uninteresting remotes, but the VIZIO D40-D1 feature the Smart Remote which has been custom built for the Smart TV experience. All the unnecessary buttons have been kicked to the curb and what you get is a simplistic and efficient remote.

Aside from its features, the device also has a couple of flaws. To be more specific, it can be rather difficult in certain situations to connect it to the WiFi network. Additionally, you might need a third party purchase to take care of the sound as the default sound system isn’t that exceptional.
